Gill Yohan Ng has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. They began their career working as a Project Manager for Territorio Paraiso Branding at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana from 2006 to 2008. From 2011 to 2011, they served as a Public Relations Specialist for Palmipor, where they focused on creating a positive public image for the organization. In 2009, they assumed the role of Lab Manager at La Parcela Colombia, where they successfully increased sales and customer satisfaction through improved training systems and promotional efforts.
From 2013 to 2013, Gill worked in Customer Service at Chevron, where they managed gas station operations and performed daily tasks. They joined Chevron again in 2016 as an Assistant Manager, responsible for leading a team, managing daily tasks, and overseeing vendors and maintenance staff.
In 2017, Gill worked as a Fermentation Production Technician at Bayer, where they utilized Excel tracking tools and a distributed control system to monitor fermentation processes. At VCA Animal Hospitals from 2018 to 2020, they served as a Customer Service Team Lead, focusing on increasing customer satisfaction, providing training, and guiding junior team members.
They joined Zymergen in 2020 as a Research Associate in Fermentation, where they managed fermenters, maintained equipment, and conducted analytical assays. Currently, since 2021, Gill is working as a Research Associate II - High Throughput Screening at Triplebar, responsible for the execution and management of high-throughput technologies, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with biologists and engineers.
Gill Yohan Ng's education history began in 2002, when they attended RedGFU Mundial and earned a certification as a Certified Professional trainer and goal Career Coach. From 2003 to 2008, they studied at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and obtained a degree in Publicist, specializing in Publicist and Marketing PR. In 2017, they enrolled at City College of San Francisco and is currently pursuing an Associate's degree in the Biotechnology Program, specifically in the Biotech Bridge.
