Enawgaw Mehari

Medical Director- Stroke at TriStar Horizon Medical Center

Enawgaw Mehari has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in the medical and academic fields. Enawgaw is currently working as an Adjunct Professor at both Bahirdar University and Meharry Medical College since 2021. In 2020, they served as the Medical Director- Stroke at TriStar Horizon Medical Center. Prior to that, from 2019, they worked as an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Neurology at the University of Pikeville. Enawgaw Mehari is also the founder and president of People to People Inc, a role they have held since 2002. Enawgaw was a Senior Consultant at King's Daughters Medical Center from 2017. Additionally, Enawgaw Mehari was an Honorary Assistant Professor at Addis Ababa University starting from 2001.

Enawgaw Mehari began their education at General Wingate High School from 1974 to 1978. Enawgaw then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine at Comenius University from 1981 to 1988. Continuing their medical studies, Mehari completed a Neurology Residency Program at the University of Kentucky from 1995 to 1999. Following their residency, they pursued a Fellowship in Neurophysiology and Pain Management at Case Western Reserve University from 1999 to 2001. Finally, they obtained another Fellowship, this time in NeuroAIDs, at Washington University in St. Louis from 2001 to 2002.
