Karla Villatoro De Friedman

Karla is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of TriState Capital Holdings and Chief Compliance Officer of Chartwell TSC Securities Corp. She manages and oversees the internal legal group of the Bank and outside law firms while providing material support on transactions and general operational matters. Karla also oversees risk management and compliance matters of the Bank and its affiliates and coordinates interactions and relationships with the regulatory agencies, including handling regulatory examinations. In her role as Corporate Secretary she works closely with the Company’s Board of Directors, its Chairman and CEO, and senior officers, providing information on board best practices and tailoring the Board’s governance framework to fit the needs of the Company and its directors, as well as the expectations of shareholders. She holds FINRA General Securities Representative (Series 7) and General Securities Principal (Series 24) licenses. Before becoming a lawyer, she worked as an Investment Banking Analyst with JPMorgan in New York City. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. Karla received her law degree from Fordham University School of Law and graduated from Marymount Manhattan College. She was born in El Salvador and immigrated to the United States as a child.
