Vice President Of Engineering Operations at Tritium

Stephan Sommerschuh has a diverse work experience in various engineering management roles. Stephan is currently the Vice President of Engineering Operations at Tritium®, where they oversee the end-to-end development of software technology for High Power EV Charging Stations. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Onboard Software Engineering at Tritium®, where they were responsible for the development of software technology and the management of the software release process.

Before joining Tritium®, Stephan worked at Lumascape as the Design & Mechanical Engineering Manager. In this role, they led a team of Industrial Designers and Mechanical Engineers and was responsible for the efficient development of multiple R&D projects for architectural lighting systems.

Stephan also has previous experience at Valeo, where they held various roles. As a Project Engineer, they coordinated all R&D activities and developed new technologies for automotive lighting products. Stephan also served as a Calculation Engineer, where they led the development of mechanical FEM simulations and coordinated crash simulations for compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, Stephan participated in an International Trainee Program at Valeo.

Prior to their professional career, Stephan worked as a Researcher at Niigata University.

Throughout their career, Stephan Sommerschuh has demonstrated expertise in engineering management, software development, product design, and technological innovation.

Stephan Sommerschuh pursued their education from 1997 to 2003 at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, where they earned an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
