Hugo Martel

Hugo Martel has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Hugo began their career at SmartSight in 2001, where they worked as a Software Video Engineer, specializing in developing H.263 codecs and firmware for the Video Security market. In 2004, Hugo joined Verint as a Group Leader, leading a firmware development team focused on Mpeg4 codec development and video applications. Later, they transitioned to the role of Product Manager at Verint, overseeing various product lines and managing relationships with partner companies. In 2014, Hugo joined Triton Digital as a Product Manager and subsequently took on the roles of Director of Product Development and Vice President of Content Delivery. Their expertise spans product management, firmware development, codec development, and video applications.

Hugo Martel holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management, which they obtained from HEC Montréal from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at the Université de Sherbrooke from 1996 to 2000.
