Alex Kampmann

Alex Kampmann's work experience includes serving as the VP, General Manager at Independent Publishers Group since September 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Business Development at Midpoint Trade Books starting from September 2005. In this role, they managed 10 sales representatives and support staff, facilitated the development of existing clients in book publishing sales and distribution, and played a key role in acquiring new business. Prior to that, Alex worked as a Sales Executive at Pitney Bowes from March 2004 to March 2005, where they served as a traveling sales representative for small businesses in Santa Barbara County and provided customer service and support for Pitney Bowes clients and postage equipment. Alex also gained experience as an Intern at Deloitte & Touche in the summer of 2002.

Alex Kampmann attended Lehigh University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science Business Information Systems. Additionally, in 2006, Alex also completed the Columbia Publishing Course at Columbia University.
