Bhuwan Bhatt

Bhuwan Bhatt has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and data science. Bhuwan started their career at Upwork.com in 2017, where they worked as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer & Python Backend Developer until 2021. During this time, they gained experience in developing AI solutions and backend systems using Python.

In 2019, Bhuwan joined Fusemachines as a Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, they built predictive ML models using various algorithms like decision trees, random forest, and Naive Bayes. Bhuwan also utilized techniques such as LIME and SHAP to explain the predictions of these models. Bhuwan worked at Fusemachines until 2021.

Afterward, Bhuwan worked at Ncell as a Data Scientist in 2021. Here, they played a crucial role in building an AI Center of Excellence to generate insights from data. Bhuwan developed a machine learning model to predict retail mobility using polynomial regression. Additionally, Bhuwan performed behavioral analysis to cluster non-churners from churners based on various factors like expenses, usage of services, and age in the network.

In 2022, Bhuwan had two more significant experiences. First, they worked at Saturn Cloud as a Fellow, contributing to the company's projects before leaving in early 2023. Later, they joined TERAKOYA Academia as a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer. Here, they created and deployed a data-labelling tool and built a BERT-based model for document recommendation. Bhuwan also refactored existing code to align with best practices, SOLID principles, OOP, and design patterns.

Currently, Bhuwan is a Machine Learning Engineer at Triumph Technology Solutions LLC, starting in 2023.

Bhuwan Bhatt completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Tribhuvan University, IOE, Pulchowk Campus. Bhuwan attended this institution from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their High School education in the field of Science from Sagarmatha Multiple College, during the years 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Bhuwan Bhatt obtained several certifications related to Machine Learning from Coursera. In September 2019, they completed certifications in Sequence Models and Structuring Machine Learning Projects. In August 2019, they also obtained a certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
