Katharina Frey

Katharina Frey is a legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and data protection. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at trivago since February 2019, responsibilities include managing IP matters, advising on data protection, drafting and negotiating contracts, overseeing international legal disputes related to patents and consumer protection, and managing the international trademark portfolio. Prior to this role, Katharina worked as a lawyer at HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER from April 2013 to February 2019, providing legal counsel to both national and international clients in various IP areas, including patent, trademark, competition, and design law. Katharina completed the 2. Staatsexamen and legal clerkship at Oberlandesgericht Düsseldorf from 2010 to 2012 and obtained a Staatsexamen in law from Universität Osnabrück from 2004 to 2009.
