Niclas Hicks

Niclas Hicks has a strong background in tax and finance. Niclas currently holds the position of Head of Tax / Syndikus-Steuerberater at trivago since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at PwC, where they held various roles including Steuerberater - Manager Tax and Senior Associate. Niclas also has experience as a Lehrbeauftragter at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg. Niclas began their career at Dr. Neumann, Schmeer & Partner as a Prüfungsassistent.

Niclas Hicks obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in RSW-Wirtschaftsprüfung from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) from 2012 to 2015. Niclas then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Taxation at the University of Freiburg from 2017 to 2021. In 2020, they also obtained a certification as a German Certified Tax Advisor from the Steuerberaterkammer Düsseldorf.
