Tarun Sawhney

Mr. Tarun Sawhney, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, is a promoter of the company. He has a Masters degree in Economics from the Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, UK and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, USA.

Mr. Sawhney has also experience in the fields of telecommunications, information technology, and financial and portfolio analysis. He worked with AT Kearney Inc., UK, a management consultancy firm from 1998 to 2000.

He is the Past President of Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA). He is also on several industry committees in the field of agriculture and sustainability.

Mr. Sawhney is a Trustee of the Tirath Ram Shah Hospital in New Delhi, which is the oldest charitable hospital in North India. He is on the Board of Oxford and Cambridge Society of India and is a member of the Indian Public Schools Society (IPSS).
