Namitesh Roy Choudhury is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the chemical industry. Currently serving as Vice Chairman and Managing Director at LANXESS India since July 2004, as well as Executive Director and Head of PTSE India, Namitesh has been instrumental in overseeing Industrial and Environmental Affairs within the country organization. Prior to this, Namitesh held the position of General Manager for Engineering and Projects at Bayer from January 1989 to June 2004, contributing to projects in China and India and bringing over two decades of expertise in industrial environmental affairs and central engineering. Namitesh holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, completed in 1981.
