Rich Howley is currently working as an Exhibit Technologist at Trivium Interactive since April 2021. Previously, Rich worked as a Part-Time Faculty at Boston College since 2005, teaching production classes in the communications department. Rich also worked as a Software Engineer at Northern Light Productions from 2012 to April 2021, developing interactive exhibits for museums. Rich holds a Bachelor of Art in Computer Science and a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Technology Design from UMass Boston.
Trivium Interactive
Trivium Interactive is a small interactive media design and production firm. We specialize in creating bespoke media-based exhibits for cultural institutions, corporations, and brands. We were formed based on the common ideal that multimedia experiences should be accessible for every client, and should be driven by content, design thinking, and creativity. Some people call what we do experiential design. Sometimes we call it that too. But, our main focus is on co-designing experiences with the right team members (exhibit designers, fabricators, other media designers...clients!) We just happen to focus on the more technical stuff. Together, we are all experience designers. You can find us at the intersections of content and design, design and technology, and technology and fabrication.
