Will Zhang

Will Zhang has extensive work experience in operational excellence and engineering, with a focus on implementing improvement processes in various industries. Will currently holds the position of Vice President of Operational Excellence and Engineering at Trivium Packaging since October 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Director of Operations at Valor Equity Partners from September 2021 to September 2023. Will also worked as a Director of Continuous Improvement at Hubbell Power Systems from March 2020 to September 2021. From 2013 to 2019, they held the role of Vice President of Operational Excellence at Caraustar, where they played a key role in upgrading manufacturing plants and establishing post-acquisition standards. Before Caraustar, they served as an Operational Excellence Manager at Greif, Inc. from 2006 to 2013, focusing on implementing employee engagement and customer value programs. Will Zhang started their career as a Six-Sigma & Supply Chain Consultant at Steamline from 2003 to 2006, where they executed cost-saving and profit-improvement measures. Will also gained experience as a Lean Six Sigma Specialist intern at Ford Motor Company in 2005 and as a Design and Verification Engineer at Silicon Graphics Inc. from 1999 to 2003.

Will Zhang holds an MBA degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Will also has a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (MSECE) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), both from The Ohio State University.
