Matthew Brown

Matthew Brown has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Matthew started their career in 2008 as a Sales Engineer and Lead Software Trainer at Financial Tools Inc, where they provided comprehensive solutions for risk management in the banking and financial industry.

In 2012, Matthew joined OneLogin, Inc. as a Sales Engineer, contributing to the democratization of identity management for organizations of all sizes. Matthew played a vital role in getting enterprises up and running quickly.

Following that, Matthew worked at VASCO Data Security as a Technical Account Manager from 2014 to 2017. Matthew specialized in providing two-factor authentication and electronic signature solutions, particularly for financial institutions.

Matthew then joined PKWARE as a Senior Sales Engineer in 2017, where they focused on closing gaps in enterprise information security by implementing solutions that prioritize data and application security.

In 2018, Matthew joined Veracode as a Principal Solutions Architect. Matthew contributed to delivering application security solutions and services for businesses to confidently innovate with web and mobile applications. Matthew worked with clients throughout the application development lifecycle to ensure improved security.

In 2021, Matthew became the Head of Pre-Sales US at 42Crunch. Here, they led the team in building a security platform that automates the generation of appropriate security policies for enterprise APIs and hosting infrastructures.

In 2022, Matthew transitioned to Cycode as a Senior Sales Engineer and continued their work in providing security solutions. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Sales Engineer at Tromzo, assisting in the acceleration of risk remediation from code to cloud.

Matthew Brown graduated from Georgetown University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their field of study included Economics, Classics, and Math. Matthew obtained several certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in November 2016, CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in October 2021, CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in June 2021, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021, LFCS: Linux Foundation Certified Systems Administrator from The Linux Foundation in March 2021, and CKS: Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist from The Linux Foundation in October 2021.
