Catherine Bennett has diverse work experience in various industries.

Starting in 2011, they worked as a Microbiologist at ALS Food and Pharmaceutical, where they performed bacterial colony enumeration and species confirmation.

In 2013, while completing their A-levels and then degree full-time, Bennett worked in casual roles at Newmarket Racecourse and Huntingdon Racecourse. Their responsibilities included sponsorship liaison, customer support, and testing support.

In 2014, they worked as a Casual Assistant at Welney WWT, where they assisted customers in the café, managed the kitchen, and handled stock control and cashing up.

In 2015, they took on a temporary position as an Essential Banker at Barclays, where they assisted customers, promoted products, handled complaints, and managed cashing up and document management.

In 2016, Bennett worked as a Customer Service Representative at Thorlabs, where they dealt with customer inquiries, processed sales orders, and trained new staff members.

From 2016 to 2018, they held multiple roles at Omega Diagnostics Group, including QC Technician, Laboratory Supervisor, and Primary Production Supervisor. Their responsibilities included quality control testing, laboratory management, stock control, and process improvements.

From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Service Lead - Laboratory Support at VWR, part of Avantor. Their role involved implementing change, digitizing records and procedures, and building relationships with stakeholders for a site move.

From 2019 to 2020, Bennett was a Transfer to Production Manager at Horizon Discovery, where they managed the transfer of projects from R&D to Production and ensured compliance with ISO13485.

In 2020, they briefly worked as a NetSuite Assistant (Temporary) at Greens of Soham, assisting with administrative tasks.

Currently, they are at Tropic Biosciences, starting as a Quality Specialist and later becoming the Head of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment. Their responsibilities include implementing quality management systems, developing core processes, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. Catherine is also involved in the implementation of an electronic quality management system (eQMS).

Catherine Bennett's education history is as follows. Catherine first attended the College of West Anglia from 2013 to 2015, where they completed their A-levels in human biology and chemistry, with a focus on home-study psychology. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences at The Open University from 2015 to 2018. In 2019, Catherine enrolled in The Open College of Equine Studies, where they obtained an HND in Equine Nutrition by the end of 2021. Additionally, in 2019, they attended the University of Aberdeen and obtained a PgCert in Clinical Nutrition in 2020. In terms of certifications, Catherine completed the ISO9001 New Quality Managers Course at Lloyd's Register in April 2019.
