Cynara Romero

Cynara Romero has a diverse work experience in the field of research and science. Cynara started their career as a Research Intern at Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária - Embrapa Soja from February 2009 to December 2012. Cynara then worked as a PhD Candidate at Wageningen University & Research from May 2013 to July 2018. Following that, they joined The Sainsbury Laboratory as a Postdoctoral Scientist in April 2019 and continued until February 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Research Scientist at Tropic, starting from February 2023.

Cynara Romero's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Ciências Biológicas from Universidade Estadual de Maringá, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Cynara then pursued a Master's degree in Genética e Biologia Molecular at UEL - Universidade Estadual de Londrina, completing it from 2009 to 2011. Following this, they enrolled as a PhD candidate at Wageningen University & Research, specializing in Experimental Plant Sciences - Plant Breeding, which spanned from 2013 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Cynara has obtained two additional certifications. In 2022, they acquired a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management from ILM. Cynara also completed a certification in Produtividade e Gestão do Tempo from Escola Conquer, also in 2022.
