Marla Basantes

Marla Basantes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and executive administration. Currently serving as Chief of Staff and Director of Executive Administration at Tropic Ocean Airways since January 2018, Marla previously held the position of Manager Airport Operations Coordination at Silver Airways since November 2014. Additional leadership roles include Manager of Executive Administration at CME, Inc., and Director of Technical Operations at MEP Structural Engineering and Inspections Inc., where Marla served from July 2009 to November 2014. Earlier career experiences include Executive Assistant at Flight Options and Bar Manager at Fairlawn Country Club. Marla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Dance/Education from Kent State University and graduated with honors from Freedom Area High School.
