Maddie Smith

Maddie Smith has a diverse work experience starting from 2014. Maddie worked as a Founding Partner and Co-President at BowGirlz from January 2014 to August 2018. In 2015, they served as a Brand Ambassador at Gusto Farm to Street for a period of eight months. In 2018, Maddie worked as a Legislative Policy Intern at Endo Pharmaceuticals for three months. In 2019, they had internships at Bausch Health Companies Inc. and TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm, working as a Government Affairs Intern and Manager of Customer Satisfaction respectively, both for a period of three months. In 2020, Maddie joined StartUM Entrepreneurship as an Organization Member until August 2022. Maddie also served as an Analyst at Michigan Stocks and Bonds (MSBO) from January 2020 to September 2022. In 2021, Maddie took on the role of Standards Chair at Delta Delta Delta Sorority for a year. Maddie also gained experience as a Data Insights & Marketing Intern at BrandTelligent Sampling Solutions for two months in 2021. Currently, Maddie is working at Tropic as an Associate Commercial Executive, starting in July 2022.

Maddie Smith began their education at Walt Whitman High School from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following that, they attended Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth (CTY) in 2017 to 2018, focusing on Mathematics. Maddie then pursued their higher education at the University of Michigan from 2018 to 2022, majoring in Communication and Media Studies to earn their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. In November 2020, they obtained a certification in "Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills" from the University of Michigan.
