João Chambel

João Chambel is the current Commercial Sales at Tropical Marine Centre. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director of AQUASPROSea from August 2015 to December 2018. AQUASPROSea is a Portuguese company dedicated to the production of ornamental species of salted water. João was also an Aquaculture Researcher at Polytechnic of Leiria from October 2009 to July 2015 where they did research projects in order to develop protocols for the maintenance of ornamental species.

João Chambel has a Master's degree in Aquaculture from Polytechnic of Leiria and a PhD in Biology from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa.

João Chambel reports to Nick Bridel, Director. João Chambel works with Thomas Lund - Chorleywood Stock Manager, Simon Emmerson - Commercial Systems Supervisor, and Michael Barrett - Head of Technical Development.
