Alvin Wong

Alvin Wong currently serves as the Executive Director at Tropicana Corporation Berhad, focusing on new energy and technologies, particularly in renewable energy, solar, battery energy storage systems, hydrogen, data centers, and green smart manufacturing since April 2024. Previously, Alvin held the position of Country Director at EDPR Sunseap APAC from March 2022 to April 2024, overseeing various renewable energy projects, including solar PV and battery energy storage. Prior to that, Alvin was Country Director at Sunseap Energy, managing PV solar, electric vehicle initiatives, and other energy investments from September 2021 to April 2024. Alvin's experience also includes senior roles at MATTAN ENGINEERING SDN BHD as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning, Director of Operations at Toprank Solar Energy Sdn Bhd, Director of Business Development at Hasilwan (M) Sdn Bhd, and Operations Manager at Hasilwan, as well as Head of Operations at Cypark Resources Berhad.
