Denise Teo

Denise Teo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Denise most recently worked at Tropicana Corporation Berhad as the Campaign & Social Media Manager for the T Privilege Loyalty Programme. In this role, they focused on increasing brand awareness in India and the Middle East through collaboration with property agents, lawyers, influential individuals, and chambers of commerce.

Before that, Denise was the Head of People Operations at Root Remedies, where they played a crucial role in supporting the company's growth from 6 to 24 employees. Their responsibilities included setting up statutory contributions, upgrading employee contracts, establishing recruitment SOPs, managing operations and finance, and overseeing product manufacturing and logistics.

Denise also has experience as an Operations Coordinator at ServisHero, a Human Capital role at Saltycustoms, and an HR & Admin Manager/Talent Acquisition role at ServisHero. Additionally, they worked as an HR intern at KPMG Malaysia and a Healthcare Executive at Ultra Works Sdn Bhd.

Furthermore, Denise has research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Newcastle, where they managed and supervised students within the lab and updated lab SOPs.

Denise Teo completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the University of Adelaide in 2010. During their time at the university, they focused on the field of study of Genetics and pursued an Honours in Genetics. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, Denise attended the University of South Australia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Pharmaceutical and Medical Biotechnology. In 2011, they also received the Golden Key International Award from the Golden Key International Honour Society.
