Faezah Ayub

General Manager at Tropicana

Faezah Ayub has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and organizations. Faezah is currently the General Manager at Tropicana Corporation Berhad, where they oversee the implementation of plans and strategies for catalytic projects in the Southern Region. This includes managing an Industrial Park and revitalizing the Kin Integrated Resort Project in Okinawa, Japan.

Before that, Faezah worked as a Special Officer to the Chief Minister at the State of Johor, where they played a key role in strategic planning for the Agro Food Industry, Food Security, and State Budget. Faezah collaborated with the State Economic Planning Division (BPEN Johor) on these initiatives.

Prior to their role in the State of Johor, Faezah was a Programme Manager at Think City, where they worked closely with the Johor Bahru City Council (MBJB) to implement the Urban Space Upgrading Programme in the heritage area of Johor Bahru old town. Faezah also served as a Guest Lecturer - Community Learning at the University of Reading Malaysia and as an Associate in the Urban Renewal Unit at the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA), where they assisted in the implementation of the JB Transformation Programme.

Faezah also has experience as a Research Associate at Frost & Sullivan, where they conducted research, and as an RA Intern at Nagoya Institute of Technology.

Faezah began their career as an Associate at the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA), where they were a member of the Johor Bahru Transformation (JBT) Team, working closely with the JB City Council, investors, developers, and related government agencies on rejuvenation projects in JB.

Faezah Ayub's education history begins in 1998 when they attended Sekolah Tun Fatimah and graduated in 2002 with an SPM 2002 in the Science Stream. Faezah then went on to pursue a foundation degree in Engineering from Ambang Asuhan Jepun, Universiti Malaya from 2003 to 2005. Faezah continued their education at Wakayama University from 2005 to 2009, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and System Engineering. Finally, they attended Kyoto University from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Master's degree in Urban and Environmental Engineering.
