Jason Willis, P.E. is an experienced engineering professional specializing in mine reclamation and environmental management. Currently serving as the Western AML Program Director and Colorado AML Program Manager at Trout Unlimited since October 2012, Jason develops and implements reclamation solutions for abandoned mine sites in Colorado and Wyoming, oversees staff and projects, and analyzes water and soil chemistry data. In addition, Jason holds a position as an Adjunct Lecturer at Western Colorado University, teaching techniques related to Abandoned Mine Lands. Previous roles include project management and technical analysis in environmental engineering and civil engineering contexts, with a Master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering Technology from Penn State Behrend.
