Jan van Assen

Jan van Assen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital innovation and IT management within the nutrition and food production sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Digital Innovation at Trouw Nutrition since September 2018, Jan previously held various senior roles at Nutreco, including Division IT Director and Director Commercial IT and Digital. Jan's career in IT management began in 2002 at Trouw Nutrition International, and includes positions such as Manager Supply Chain and Movex ERP Project Manager. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Animal Nutrition from Wageningen University & Research, alongside multiple marketing certifications from NCOI Opleidingen and APICS.
