Benjamin Kikkert

Benjamin Kikkert is a seasoned political cartoonist with extensive experience across various media platforms. Since October 2011, Benjamin has been contributing to BNNVARA as a political cartoonist for Joop.nl, while also serving as the CEO of KIKspot since April 2018. Additionally, Benjamin has been involved with Stichting Pers & Prent since 2014 as a participant in the Inktspotprijs and has worked as a seasonal employee at Trouw since July 2019, temporarily filling roles on the opinion page and in the main section. Previous roles include cartoonist for Medisch Contact from April 2018 to August 2024, political cartoonist for Trouw.nl from 2012 to 2016, and creator of covers for Nieuwspoort Nieuws from 2007 to 2011. Benjamin's career began as a cartoonist for the Socialistische Partij and the Texelse Courant from 2005 to 2011.
