Kick Hommes

Kick Hommes is an experienced journalist with a focus on sports and national news. Currently serving as a Sportjournalist at Trouw since February 2015, Kick previously worked as a Redacteur Binnenland at Novum Nieuws, where responsibilities included covering domestic affairs such as traffic signs and healthcare. Kick's background also includes experience as a Sportredacteur at de Volkskrant, contributing to coverage of incidents in sports and various sporting events, including the Olympics. Additionally, Kick conducted research on trade politics between the European Union and Africa as part of the editorial team for Beyond Your World at Vice Versa. Kick holds a Master of Arts in Media and Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in History, both from the University of Amsterdam.
