Marije van Beek

Marije van Beek is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in religious and philosophical reporting. Currently serving as the Chef redactie religie & filosofie at Trouw since July 2011, Marije previously held roles at NTR and worked as a freelance journalist for various publications, including the glossy CALVIJN! and Het Parool. Early career contributions included an internship at Trouw's cultuur & media and religie & filosofie sections and PR advisory work for the Erfgoedcentrum DiEP, focusing on the Calvijnjaar promotion. Marije holds a Master's degree in Media, Religie & Cultuur and a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, along with a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Christelijke Hogeschool Ede.
