Ryan J. Taylor

Ryan J. Taylor has extensive work experience, starting in 1996 as an Associate Attorney at Ivie & Young Law. Ryan J. then worked at Novell, Inc. as Director, Legal Counsel & Global Pricing from 1999 to 2011. After that, they joined Adobe Systems Incorporated as a Senior Managing Counsel from 2011 to 2014. Ryan J. then moved on to Domo, Inc., where they held the position of Vice President Legal, Chief Privacy & Data Protection Officer from 2014 to 2020. During this time, they also worked as an Adjunct Professor at J. Reuben Clark Law School from 2015 to 2020. Currently, they are the General Counsel & VP Business Technology at Trove Brands, starting in 2020.

Ryan J. Taylor has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Korean Language from Brigham Young University. Ryan J. also holds a JD degree from BYU Law School and an MBA degree from the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business. In addition to their degrees, they are certified as an Attorney by the Utah State Bar and as a Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US) by the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
