People Operations Lead at Trove

Dana (Riess) Paul has a strong background in human resources and people operations. Dana started their career as an intern at the Smithsonian Institution in 2011. From there, they gained experience as a student mentor at CollegeSpring and as an editorial intern at McSweeney's in 2012. In 2013, Dana worked as an enterprise business representative at BrightEdge and as a recruiting coordinator at Klout. Dana then joined Nextdoor, Inc. as a recruiting coordinator, where they managed various aspects of the recruitment process and coordinated onboarding for new employees. Dana continued their career at Mattermark as a recruiter, where they recruited team members across various departments and implemented best practices and interview training. Dana then transitioned to Slack, where they held multiple positions in people operations, including roles in coordination, generalist, supervisor, and manager. Currently, Dana is working at Pave as a People Operations Lead.

Dana (Riess) Paul attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology. In 2012, they briefly studied Italian Language and Literature at Richmond, The American International University in London.
