Şeymanur Yönt

Şeymanur Yönt is a legal professional with extensive experience in law and research. Currently working as a researcher at TRT World since February 2022, Şeymanur previously interned at the American Society of International Law, focusing on international law developments and UN Security Council Resolutions. Earlier, Şeymanur served as a volunteer caseworker at Advocate, analyzing legal documents and providing administrative support. With a background as a lawyer at Pehlivan & Güner Law Firm, expertise encompasses pharmaceuticals law, personal data protection law, and commercial law, while providing legal advice to multinational companies. Additionally, Şeymanur has contributed to refugee support through various organizations such as Refugee Rights Turkey and IUSTITIA. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) from The London School of Economics and Political Science and bachelor's degrees in law from Istanbul University and Masaryk University Brno.
