Ilaria di Pietro

Ilaria Di Pietro is a highly qualified scientist currently engaged with the Cyprus Space Exploration Organisation as of November 2023, and has extensive experience in various scientific and coordinating roles. Ilaria serves as a Travel Coordinator and Back Office Assistant at WeRoad since July 2022, while also fulfilling the role of Scientific Reviewer for the Science Publishing Group and MDPI since April 2022, contributing expertise to multiple journals in environmental and geoscientific fields. Ilaria's past experience includes working as a Research Technologist for the H2020 NEOROCKS project at Agenzia Spaziale Italiana from September 2022 to August 2023 and post-doctoral research at Università degli Studi 'Gabriele d'Annunzio'​ di Chieti from April 2019 to September 2022. Additionally, Ilaria has provided instruction on planetary data mapping and interpretation through courses offered by Europlanet Society and has held visiting research positions at prominent institutions including Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Ilaria holds a PhD in Earth Systems and Built Environments from Università degli Studi 'Gabriele d'Annunzio'​ di Chieti.
