Felix Ng

Felix Ng is a Solution Architect at TruAdvantage. Felix has previous experience working as a Computer Resource Specialist II at UC Davis and as an IT Student Lead at UC Davis Stores.

In their role as a Computer Resource Specialist II, Felix provided excellent remote and on-site support to over 1500 staff and 1700 computers. Felix consistently exceeded expectations on user surveys and performance metrics. Felix's tickets included basic desktop software, hardware and network troubleshooting, computer imaging and deployment using WDT, creating Exchange mailboxes using PowerShell, and working with AD Security groups.

As an IT Student Lead, Felix led a team of 10 students to provide support to over 200 career staff and students. Felix's regular duties involved troubleshooting incoming tickets via phone and email, imaging and deploying computers, and creating knowledge base articles for resolved issues. Felix's lead duties included making sure tickets were in progress, resolving escalated issues, training new students, creating and scheduling shifts around classes, scheduling regular E-Waste events, and streamlining regular processes. Felix worked closely with the sysadmin to implement GPO changes, wrote scripts for metrics reporting, and automated the imaging process.

Felix Ng has a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Davis. Felix is certified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and has a certification from CompTIA in CompTIA Security+.
