Hein van der Schoot

Hein van der Schoot is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across the rail and energy sectors. Currently serving as CFO at Truckland since January 2023, Hein previously held multiple CEO positions at Stadler, overseeing operations in Scandinavia, Finland, and the UK, USA, and the Netherlands. As CFO/COO at Voith Railservices, Hein was instrumental in divesting the Polish branch and preparing the company for sale. Additional leadership roles include Secretary & Treasurer at Railforum and Interim CFO/COO at Van Berge Henegouwen. Hein's earlier career spans finance directorships at Nuon, Corus, and Kroymans, along with significant experience in sales control. Educational qualifications include a postdoctoral degree in Controllersopleiding from Erasmus University Rotterdam and membership in the Hemingway Duisenberg Society.
