James Williamson

James Williamson has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. James started their career as a Menswear Designer at Republic Retail Ltd in 2009 and worked there until 2010. After that, they joined River Island as a Senior Menswear Designer and later became the Menswear Design Manager from 2010 to 2015. In 2015, they moved to Australian Fashion Labels Pty Ltd and worked as a Menswear Brand Manager until 2016. James then joined Marcs as the Head Designer from 2016 to 2017. In the same year, they took on the role of Head of Design at Wrangler Apparel Co, overseeing the creative direction for Wrangler Australia. James currently holds the position of Head of Design Lee, Wrangler & Riders by Lee at True Alliance. Overall, James has demonstrated a strong background in design and management roles in the fashion industry.

James Williamson received a BA (hons) degree in Fashion & Clothing from Leeds Arts University, specializing in Fashion/Apparel Design, from 2003 to 2006.
