Jason Keelor has diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jason began their career in 2015 as a Courtesy Clerk at Safeway and later worked as a Marketing Executive at College Pro in 2016. From 2016 to 2021, they joined YMCA Calgary, where they held multiple positions, including Swim Instructor, Lifeguard, Aquatic Team/Shift Lead, and Head Swim Club Coach. In 2019, Jason also worked as a Swimming Instructor and Lifeguard at the City of Calgary while serving as a Wellness Community Ambassador at the University of Calgary. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the Hotchkiss Brain Institute from 2019 to 2020. In 2021, Jason joined True Angle as a Project Manager and briefly worked as a Business Development Analyst at Genome Alberta.

Jason Keelor completed their education in the field of biomedical technology. Jason obtained a Master of Biomedical Technology degree from the University of Calgary, studying from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with First Class Honours in Neuroscience from the same university, completing it from 2016 to 2020.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jason also holds various certifications. Jason obtained the National Lifeguard Instructor (NLI) certification from the Lifesaving Society Canada in September 2021. In August 2019, they completed the QPR Suicide Prevention Training at the University of Calgary.
