Dr. Bridgitt Mitchell

Dr. Bridgitt Mitchell, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Professional Development for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and is the President of Bridgitt Mitchell Consulting, LLC. With a robust background in early childhood education and leadership roles, Dr. Mitchell has held positions such as Adjunct Faculty at Merrimack College, Certified Trainer at True Colors International, and Program Chair at Colorado Community Colleges Online. Previous roles include Sr. Director of Training and Quality at ZERO TO THREE and Director of Early Education Department at Denver Public Schools. Dr. Mitchell possesses an extensive educational background with a Doctor of Education in Higher Education and Adult Learning from Walden University, an MBA focusing on Leadership and Management from The University of Kansas, and additional degrees in Human Development and Family Life, African and African American Studies, along with a Graduate Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University.
