Stephane Boily

Stephane Boily is an accomplished Functional Safety Leader with extensive experience in the oil and gas, chemical, and automation industries. At True North Solutions since February 2021, Stephane has developed a Corporate Functional Safety Management System, conducted functional safety assessments per IEC 61511, and provided customized training. Previous roles include Safety System Technology Manager at Autopro Automation Consultants Ltd., where Stephane built a team of Functional Safety Specialists, and Senior Safety Engineer at exida Canada Ltd., focusing on safety instrumented systems and compliance with IEC 61511. Stephane's career also includes significant contributions as a SIS/PLC Group Manager at Emerson Process Management, emphasizing safety systems engineering and management system certifications. Stephane holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, earned between 1983 and 1987.
