Beth Ghiloni has held various roles in the marketing and education industries since 1989. Beth began their career at Eric Marder Associates as a Director. In 1990, they moved to Pitney Bowes, where they held the roles of Director, Executive Director, Director of New Channels and SMB Marketing, and Manager of Strategic and Tactical Small Business Marketing/Marketing Research. In 1999, they joined FloNetwork as the Chief Communications Officer, where they successfully built and positioned the company as an industry leader in the United States. In 2012, they became a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Hartford, where they taught courses such as Intro to Marketing, Marketing Research, Managerial Leadership, Product Development, Social Media Marketing Plan, Marketing Communications, and Consumer Behavior. Beth also took a course in Distance Learning. In 2013, they became an Advisor for Higher Heights Youth Empowerment Program, a college access program. In 2014, they joined Central Connecticut State University as an Associate Professor of Marketing and 3Seventy as a Marketing Consultant. In 2016, they became the President of the Board of Directors for New Britain Housing Services.
Beth Ghiloni began their educational journey in 1973 when they graduated from Granville High School. Beth then attended Ohio University from 1976 to 1980 and obtained a BA in Sociology. In 1980, Beth Ghiloni began their PhD in Sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, which they completed in 1986. In 2012, they attended a seminar on Teaching Online and Human Subjects Research Training at the University of Hartford.
