Mark Jennings has over 25 years of experience in the venture capital and private equity industry. In 1995, they co-founded Generation Partners, a venture capital firm that provides expertise and long-term equity capital to high-growth companies. Since then, they have invested in over 50 companies in various industries, such as business and information services, media, software, education, healthcare, entertainment, communications, and eCommerce.
In 2011, Jennings became the Chairman and Lead Investor of TrueDialog, an enterprise-grade SMS texting platform. Mark was also the Lead Investor of Cayetano Development, a mission-driven company that develops affordable single-family communities throughout Texas, in 2016.
In 2019, Jennings was asked to become a Board Member and Founding Investor of Remote Legal Court Reporting, a mission-driven software and services company. Mark has also served as a Member of the Board of Trustees of Post University since 2004, a Board Member and Lead Investor of ReCept Pharmacy since 2011, a Board Member and Lead Investor of Captivate, LLC since 2013, and a Board Member and First Institutional Investor of Sterling since 2003. Jennings was also a Founding Investor of Artists Den Entertainment in 2005 and a Board Member and Lead Investor of Agility Recovery in 2001.
Mark Jennings obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin between 1980 and 1984. Mark then attended Harvard Business School between 1984 and 1986, graduating with an MBA. Mark also holds a Google Ads Search Certification from Google.
