Dr. Kunal Wani

Dr. Kunal Wani began their work experience in 2007 as a Medical Intern at K.J. Somaiya Medical Hospital, where they gained practical experience in diagnosing ailments and implementing effective healthcare solutions. Dr. Kunal later worked as an Assistant Manager in Branding and Relationship Management at SevenHills Hospital in 2011. In the same year, they joined Boehringer Ingelheim as a Medical Science Liaison and was responsible for analyzing current practices and trends in the therapeutic area. Dr. Kunal also worked closely with medical and branding teams for brand plan development.

Dr. Wani joined UCB in 2012 as a Medical Science Liaison, and in 2013, they joined Panacea Biotec Ltd as a Manager of Medical Services. Dr. Kunal later became a Brand Manager and a Senior Brand Manager, overseeing various responsibilities in brand management.

In 2015, Dr. Wani joined Abbott as a Chief Manager of Knowledge Initiatives, where they facilitated digital and knowledge initiatives. Dr. Kunal then served as the Chief Manager of Digital Initiatives before being promoted as the Senior Manager of Digital Innovation. Finally, in 2019, they co-founded Truemeds India, where they currently hold the role of Co-Founder.

Dr. Kunal Wani has an extensive education history. Dr. Kunal obtained their MBBS degree in Medicine from K.J.Somaiya Medical College from 2001 to 2007. In 2009, they pursued an MBA degree specializing in Global Management and Marketing at Thunderbird School of Global Management, which they completed in 2011. During their time at Thunderbird, they also obtained a Conflict Mediation Certificate from the same institution in May 2011. In 2010, Dr. Wani participated in an exchange program at CMC Graduate School of Business, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree. In 2017, they attended the Indian School of Business for a brief period to acquire knowledge in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia through their Digital and Social Media Marketing Strategies program.
