William Van Steen

William Van Steen has a diverse work experience in various companies. William currently works at TrueML as a Staff Engineer and Tech Lead since August 2022. Previously, they worked at Slalom Build where they held multiple roles, including Solution Principle from January 2022 to July 2022, Sr. Solutions Architect from July 2021 to January 2022, Solutions Architect from March 2019 to July 2021, and Sr. Software Engineer from October 2016 to March 2019. Before that, they worked at Maana as a Software Design Engineer from July 2016 to October 2016. William also worked at Slalom Build as a Sr. Software Engineer from August 2015 to July 2016 and as a Software Engineer from May 2012 to August 2015.

William Van Steen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. In addition, they have completed several certifications, including the Functional Programming in Scala Capstone and Specialization, Architecting with Google Cloud Platform Specialization, Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark, Advanced Modeling for Discrete Optimization, Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation, Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services, Functional Program Design in Scala, Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure, Parallel Programming, and Functional Programming Principles in Scala. William also holds the PROFESSIONAL CLOUD ARCHITECT certification from Google Cloud Platform Certified.
