Daniel S.

Daniel S. began their career in 2016 as a Computer Science Intern at CNH Industrial, where they diagrammed and revised Objective-C code that used various databases to update information on machine parts. Daniel also worked with end users on data migration of a local network server. In 2018, they began working as a Software Development Intern at Jeppesen, a Boeing Company. Later that same year, they accepted a role as General Manager at WUPX Radio X, where they coordinated all station functions and programs, oversaw all executive staff, and acted as a liaison between them and the university. In 2019, they joined Boeing as a Software Engineer III, where they were a full stack Java & Python developer for the Dynamic Data Distribution team. Daniel implemented CI/CD pipelines in AWS for legacy projects, with emphasis on AWS Lambda and CloudFormation tools. Daniel also integrated with a majority of teams in the Jeppesen portfolio, requiring effective communication and a full-picture understanding of the entire flight planning & dispatch division. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer at TrueNorth - Profits to Truckers.

Daniel S. began their educational journey at Northern Michigan University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2019. Daniel then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Data Science at the University of Denver, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
