Sam Paulos has extensive experience in the business and accounting sectors. Sam started their career in 1990 as the Owner and President of Crystal Clear Recording Studios. In 2000, they became the Owner of Bandwear.com, a promotional products company. In 2004, they became the Treasurer of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Dallas, Texas. In 2005, they became a Partner in Paulos Holdings, an investment partnership. In 2007, they became the Owner of Fancorps.com. In 2009, they started their own consulting business, providing services to auto dealerships, music recording companies, digital media delivery companies, and Dallas bars and restaurants. In 2010, they became the Treasurer of the Dallas Urban Debate Alliance. In 2013, they became an Investor in defi SOLUTIONS, Inc. In 2015, they became a Consultant for Montgomery Capital Advisers. In 2018, they became the Chief Financial Officer, Board Member, and Investor of TrueSpot, a company that provides hardware and software to enable auto dealers and auctions to locate both cars and keys.

Sam Paulos attended St Mark's School of Texas from 1976 to 1982. Sam then went on to Georgetown University, where they obtained a BA in Poli Sci in 1986. In 2014, they enrolled in the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas, where they studied Accounting and Business/Management. Sam also holds a Certified Public Accountant certification.
