Rod Miles

Rod Miles has over 19 years of experience in software engineering and web development. Rod started their career as a Graphic/UI Designer at Navsim GPS Marine Navigation Software, where they designed the GUI and created product ads. Rod then worked as a Software Engineer and Web Architect at Optrics Engineering, leading web application programming and managing team efforts. Rod then became a Senior Frontend Web Developer at Hybrid Forge, where they developed customized Drupal deployments and created an intranet package on Drupal 7. Rod gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at The Walt Disney Company, working with the Club Penguin Island web team. Rod was responsible for the technical leadership and development of enterprise-level installations using Drupal and Wordpress. Rod later joined Playr.gg as a Senior Software Developer. Most recently, Rod is a Principal Frontend Developer at Surf, a white-label loyalty and rewards platform. Rod has worked with various well-known brands to understand their audience and boost revenue while reducing costs.

Rod Miles attended Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1995 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering.
