Christina Bechhold Russ

Christina Bechhold Russ is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venture capital and strategic investments. Currently, Christina serves as the Head of Truist Ventures and holds multiple leadership roles at Truist, including Head of Ventures Outreach & Payments and Head of Strategic Investment Initiatives. As a co-founder and founding partner of Empire Angels, Christina actively supports startups and entrepreneurs. Contributions to The Wall Street Journal as a contributor and regular contributor underscore expertise in the finance and technology sectors. Additionally, Christina is a GP Advisory Board Member at 1843 Capital and has served as Director of Samsung NEXT Ventures. Christina earned a B.S. and B.A. in Finance from Boston College, following education at The Hotchkiss School.
