Darryl Derwort

Darryl Derwort is a seasoned professional in the mortgage industry, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Area Sales Manager at Truist since January 2019, overseeing production staff in the Tampa Bay area. Previously, at BB&T now Truist from December 2008 to December 2018, Darryl held multiple roles, including Senior Vice President and Group Mortgage Manager, managing production and support staff across Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, as well as serving as Vice President and Area Sales Manager in the Tampa Bay Area. Prior experience includes serving as State Manager for GMAC Mortgage in Florida from April 2003 to October 2008, and as Area Manager for Principal Residential Mortgage and North American Mortgage in the early 2000s. Darryl Derwort holds a degree in Finance with a focus on Finance/Real Estate from Florida State University.
