Dominica Groom Williams

Dominica Groom Williams is the current Head of DEI at Truist. Dominica has also been a Partner & Chief Culture, Inclusion and Diversity Officer at Guidehouse from June 2021 to July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources, Office of Inclusive Engagement at Freddie Mac from October 2017 to May 2021.

Williams began their career in 2008 as Senior Director, Global Operations, Supplier Diversity & Sustainability at Marriott International, where they worked for nine years. In 2006, they were Manager - Outreach, Programs and Events at the International Rett Syndrome Foundation before becoming Program Manager - Chapter and Component Relations at AIIM International the following year.

In 2005, Williams became Program Manager - Governance & Technology at The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Dominica has been in their current role at Truist since July of 2020.

Dominica Groom Williams attended the University of Michigan and the Academy of the Holy Cross.

They are on a team with and Wendy McSweeney - EVP, ESG Impact Advisor - Commercial Community Bank. Dominica Groom Williams reports to Kimberly Moore-Wright, Chief Teammate Officer & Head of Enterprise Diversity.
