Andrew Tsai

Andrew Tsai has extensive work experience in software development and technology leadership roles. Andrew is currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Trulioo. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Software Development at ClearDent from 2017 to 2022, where they were responsible for all software development on cloud solutions.

Before ClearDent, Tsai held various positions at TutorMing - an Alibaba-Backed Company. Andrew served as the General Manager of the TutorMing business unit, providing online interactive learning for Mandarin Chinese from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they worked as the R&D Director, where they built a new platform service for TutorMing.

Earlier in their career, Tsai founded and served as the Technology Director of Logazine from 2014 to 2015, overseeing technology innovation and delivery operations in greater China. Andrew was also the Technology Director and Co-Founder of Interactive User Experience Inc. from 2011 to 2014.

Tsai has worked as a Senior Software Developer at Yahoo! from 2010 to 2011, where they gained experience in system architectural design patterns and PHP frameworks. Prior to that, they served as a Software Development Team Lead at IBM from 2005 to 2010, specializing in Java frameworks and WebSphere technologies.

Furthermore, Tsai has experience as an Intermediate Software Developer and Development Team Lead at Instek Digital Co., Ltd. from 2004 to 2005, where they worked with C++, MFC, and video codecs. Andrew also worked as a Software Developer at Purple Globe Communication Inc. from 2001 to 2002, specializing in C++ and multimedia system implementation.

Andrew Tsai attended Simon Fraser University from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
