David Mandel-Anthony

David Mandel-Anthony has extensive experience in global criminal justice and international law. Currently serving at the U.S. Department of State as the Deputy to the Ambassador at Large for Global Criminal Justice, David has held various roles including Acting Director and Senior Policy Advisor within the Office of Global Criminal Justice since March 2012. Additionally, David is a Senior Fellow at Humanity in Action, a Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project, and a Rostered Expert with Justice Rapid Response, where training and certification focus on international justice missions. Past experiences include serving as a Foreign Policy Advisor in U.S. Congress for Rep. Jamie Raskin, an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University Law Center, and various positions with organizations such as the Open Society Foundation and Human Rights Watch. David holds a Doctor of Law from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin, emphasizing International Relations and Latin American Studies.
