Simone Bernardi

Simone Bernardi is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software development and research. Currently serving as Head of R&D Software at TRUMPF since December 2021, Bernardi previously held the position of Head of Software Development at MEONA from April 2020 to November 2021. Prior experience includes Team Leadership in Software Development at Abrechnungszentrum Emmendingen, where Bernardi led a team of 16 in establishing agile practices and modern development tools. Bernardi also worked as Senior Software Application Management at Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG, leading the development of a Credit Risk & Monitoring application, and served in various roles at Loy & Hutz Solutions GmbH, advancing from Software Development to Team Leadership and Technical Product Management. Early experience includes IT Support and Application Development at Tscheulin Rothal GmbH. Educationally, Bernardi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, completed in 2009.
